I was at this house party the other night and there were all these kids — like 21-22 year olds — listening to all this neo-neo-psychedelic stuff like Tame Impala and Unknown Mortal Orchestra and totally freaking out about how amazing they think these bands are, like it’s the freshest shit ever. I was like, “Yeah…it’s okay, but whatevs it’s really not very exciting, I feel like I’ve heard all this a million times before by better and more interesting bands…” I don’t know, it made me feel old or something, I was just like, ugghh fuck this indie pop shit, I’m sooooooooooooo tired of it.
